Loner SMD is the first comprehensive worker safety monitoring solution, having grown beyond the capability of a device that traditionally features wireless location technology and a panic button. Loner SMD incorporates an intuitive emergency latch and Blackline's patented True Fall Detection™ technology. When confronted with a dangerous situation, a worker is able to call for help by instantly releasing the emergency latch much like pulling a fire alarm. Competing solutions normally require the press of a button for up to 5 seconds which is often difficult or impossible during an emergency situation. True Fall Detection adds automatic alerting for one of the most common worker incidents - an injury fall - without being prone to false alarms.
