- Design, implement and test new features and products using TDD
- Develop drivers for peripherals, new hardware and processors
- Add support for new gas detection sensors on connected cartridge boards
- Release new firmware across multiple products
The Firmware Developer is a hands-on design position engaged in the firmware development of intrinsically safe products. As part of a cross functional team, this position has the responsibility for designing, implementing, testing, and supporting firmware controlling embedded processors in both wired and wireless networks and will apply knowledge of embedded software, communications protocols, basic electronic circuits, and signal processing to perform daily design tasks.
