Diana Winger August 25, 2011

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Aug. 25, 2011) - Blackline GPS Corp. (TSX VENTURE:BLN) ("Blackline" or "Company") will give over 5000 law enforcement and emergency professionals attending the Enforcement Expo a sneak peek at the company's upcoming Flat Track™ ultra thin covert tracker in Las Vegas, August 31st to September 2nd.

Flat Track will join the company's newly-released Javelin product as the company expands its professional covert tracker portfolio, leveraging Blackline's second generation hardware platform. Unique to Flat Track is an ultra-thin design, just 8 mm thick – thinner than an iPad® 2.

"Flat Track is clearly differentiated from competitor solutions with its ease of concealment for successful loss prevention and surveillance applications," says Barry Moore, VP of Research & Development. He further adds "In addition, our Flat Track has over 3 times the battery capacity of our legacy products, providing over 2 weeks continuous operation. Plus, advanced power management features enable users to extend tracking capability to multiple months."

Featuring removal and movement detection, Flat Track provides users with instant real-time surveillance activity alerting through mobile messaging. Internal Ultimate Sense® 2 GPS antenna technology provides more GPS coverage in more places, including many in-building locations. Flat Track features unlimited real-time tracking, unlimited real-time continuous tracking, and automatic 5 second track-on-motion.

Supported by Blackline's new Business Portal web application, users are able to quickly map the current and historical location of Flat Track devices. All location and activity data created by Flat Track is stored within the Business Portal account and provides documented evidence for location specific details on where the item has been, where it is travelling, at what specific speed, when the item comes to a stop as well as when the item is on the move again. All these details serve to provide information that may be useful in an investigation.
